Sheena is studying under Stephen Larsen as a first year student at the University of Auckland and she started learning the violin at the age of 6.
In 2018 Sheena received her LTCL diploma with distinction. In 2020 she was the assistant concertmaster of the NZSO National Youth Orchestra and the concertmaster of the NZ Secondary Schools Symphony Orchestra. That year she was also awarded the Platinum Award at the NZCT Chamber Music Contest and was a semifinalist in the National Concerto Contest. She also attended the Adam Summer School from 2020-2021.
Sheena looks forward to her first year in AYO.
