Ollie is a Year 11 student at Western Springs College and this is his first year with the AYO.
His musical experience as a violinist started at th age of 6 and since then has progressed, allowing him to join school chamber groups and become a member of the Aotea YouthSymphony for a few years. Ollie also plays saxophone, with which he has joined his school’s jazz band and saxophone ensemble, as well as attending the Rodger Fox student jazz workshop in Wellington 2020.
Outside of music, Ollie enjoys badminton, volleyball and tennis, and if not out with friends then he will most likely be found at home with his kitten.
