Luca is 17 years old, currently in his final year at Rangitoto College. He gave up piano after 7 years of playing in order to commit to the horn, which he has now been playing for 8 years. Luca plays occasionally in ensembles when he can find the time (NZYSW, AWO), and hopes to develop his ensemble musicianship significantly this year.
Outside of music, Luca is heavily involved in local and national squash tournaments, and will be travelling to Cambridge later this year for the Junior National Championships.
