Eleven year old Harper Zhang started learning the cello at the age of seven with her teacher Taki Zhang, and within the span of four years, passed her Grade 8 examination with Distinction. Two years after starting cello, Harper took up the piano and has now passed her Grade 5 examination.
Away from the cello, Harper also has a passion for art. Whether she’s painting or experimenting with other art forms, she sees creativity as a fluid experience that extends beyond just playing music. In her world, the cello isn’t just a musical instrument; it’s a versatile tool for expressing emotions and creating a colourful mix of sounds and visuals.
