Hannah Barber-Wilson

Hannah has been learning the oboe for eight years and has achieved Grade 8 with Distinction. She began lessons with Alison Jepson at Diocesan School for Girls and currently learns from Bede Hanley, Principal Oboe of the APO.

At school, Hannah was a very active member in music groups, playing in the symphony orchestra, concert band, show orchestra and chamber music, as well as playing the saxophone in the jazz band. She competed in the KBB Music Competition for five years, winning multiple gold awards.

Hannah enjoys being a part of the double reed community in New Zealand.
