Gloria, a graduate of Westlake Girls’ High School, was involved in the school’s extensive music programme. She has been thoroughly enjoying her involvement in AYO since 2015.
A recipient of scholarships from University of Auckland Young Scholar’s and Pettman National Junior Academy, Gloria is currently under the guidance of Stephen Larsen in her studies towards a Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Performance on Violin. She was previously taught by the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra’s Assistant Concertmaster, Miranda Adams.
Gloria is highly involved in competitions both nationally and internationally across solo, orchestra, and chamber ensembles. She is currently a nominee for entry to the 2017 National Young Performer of the Year instrumental competition. Aside from music, Gloria has also been active in the competitive tennis and dancing scenes.
