Ella has played the French horn for five years and is completing her grade 8 exam this year after achieving grade 7 with distinction in 2020.
She is principal horn at Diocesan School for Girls and plays in the school’s award winning Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Band and two chamber groups. She is also playing horn in this year’s school production of Les Misérables.
She taught French horn, cello and keyboard at Papakura Music School for two years and this year she is teaching the horn privately.
This is Ella’s second year in AYO and she can’t wait to be a part of it again!
