Darren is a Year 13 student who attends Massey High School. Over the years he has won many competitions, including the Tauranga Performing Arts Competition and the Te Awamutu Performing Arts Competition. Darren is a former member of the ensemble “treblemakers”. At school he is a part of the orchestra, chamber groups and jazz bands. He is currently studying violin with Stephen Larsen.
In his spare time, Darren also enjoys restoring violins and studying the art of fine violin making.
When Darren isn’t practicing or studying, he enjoys having a good old cup of tea, playing Scrabble, reading, eating fine food and hanging out with friends!
