Daniel has been playing the cello since the age of seven. He attended Hamilton Boys’ High School before moving to Auckland.
He is currently studying Engineering and Classical Performance at the University of Auckland. This is Daniel’s second year playing in Auckland Youth Orchestra.
Daniel has been a National Semi-finalist in the NZCT Secondary Schools Chamber Competition.
Daniel enjoys singing in his spare time; he has competed nationally in the YSIH Barbershop competition and was part of his school’s performance in the national Sheila Winn Shakespeare Festival.
