Caroline Norman is originally from Christchurch, and moved to Auckland in 2015 to start her Bachelor of Music degree in viola performance. She started learning from her current teacher, Stephen Larsen, in 2011 through the National Junior Pettman Academy, which is what led to her moving to Auckland to continue her studies. Caroline has always enjoyed a wide range of musical experiences, from playing in various orchestras like the National Youth Orchestra and New Zealand Secondary Schools Orchestra, to playing in chamber music ensembles at the Adam Chamber Music Summer School in Nelson every February for the past 4 years.
In her spare time Caroline enjoys playing football and collecting brooches.
